CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — The Chesapeake Fire Department is investigating the cause of a house fire Sunday evening.
Crews responded to multiple reports of a residence on fire in the 800 block of Whisper Hollow Drive at 6:15 p.m. When firefighters arrived six minutes later, they deployed multiple hoselines to quickly extinguish the fire.
The fire was brought under control at 6:40 p.m.
Officials said the occupants were able to safely evacuate the residence and no one was hurt…
