Virginia Beach Oceanfront sees fewer rescues on Labor Day 2025

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Lifeguards on the Oceanfront say rescues were down Monday.

The Virginia Beach Lifesaving Service said it only had about two rescues on Labor Day, compared to the holiday weekend, when they saw roughly 60 to 70.
