VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — New animals will be coming to the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center in October.
Presented by Little Ray’s Exhibitions, a new exhibit named Survival of the Slowest will feature animals like sloths, tortoises and a tarantula. According to the aquarium, the exhibit will teach guests about how these animals use their disadvantages to survive in the wild. Guests will also be able to interact with them.
The exhibit will debut on Oct. 6 at the Virginia Aquarium in Virginia Beach, opening for aquarium members on Oct. 4. Access to the exhibit will be included with aquarium admission. The final day of the exhibit is Jan. 4, 2026.
