HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Some Hampton Roads students who fear for their safety at the bus stop may rely on Ubers and Lyfts to get to school, according to one community activist.
According to Hampton Police, two teens were shot during a fight at a Bethel High School bus stop in the area of Orcutt Avenue and Friendly Drive in Hampton Tuesday afternoon.

During the fight, two people displayed guns and began shooting, striking two teens, an 18-year-old man who suffered a non life-threatening gunshot wound and was taken to the hospital, and a 17-year-old boy, who suffered a graze wound and went to Sentara Careplex as a walk-in patient, according to Hampton Police.
