VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Hope For Life Rescue in Virginia Beach is stepping in to take dozens of cats and kittens on Saturday after a North Carolina SPCA announced it is closing, marking one of the largest intakes in the organization’s history.
Each cat will receive spay and neuter surgeries, vaccines, preventive care, and treatment for illnesses. The rescue is asking for monetary donations, as the intake will put a significant strain on their budget. Donations can be made here.
