HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — A suspect in connection with a robbery at a Hampton Royal Farms was shot by an officer early Monday morning, police said.
According to officials, just after 4 a.m., an officer with the Hampton Police Division entered the Royal Farms located in the 4000 block of West Mercury Boulevard in order to get food. Upon entering the building, an armed adult male was attempting to rob the Royal Farms. Another suspect, an adult female, was behind the counter, police said.
