Phish breaks silence on ‘tragic’ fatal stabbing outside of concert

Rock band Phish is speaking out after a stabbing outside the group’s Virginia concert over the weekend left one person dead and two more injured.

According to local authorities, shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, police responded to a report of a stabbing outside the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia, where Phish was performing. Upon arrival, police found two injured men, according to a press release from the Hampton Police Department; one of the men died later at a hospital after succumbing to his injuries. A third victim walked into an area hospital to receive treatment for a non-life-threatening laceration.
