Free High Street Fest in Portsmouth set to feature music, vendors, and more

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – The City of Portsmouth and the Portsmouth Partnership recently announced they are going to be launching the first-ever “High Street Fest,” a community block party, on Oct. 18.

The free, all-day event is said to take place in a five-block stretch of Olde Towne along High Street from Effingham to Middle Street.

Officials say the festival will be closed-street and feature live music, vendors, restaurants, a farmer’s market, street performers, line dancing, family-friendly activities and more…
