VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — There’s a celebration planned for one of Hampton Roads’ most successful musicians, Timbaland.
The City of Virginia Beach will name a street after the Grammy Award-winning producer and rapper, and there will be a weekend of events highlighting his legacy. Timbaland says that for him, it’s all about people.
“I help through my music, so it’s like, for me, that’s the biggest accolade, knowing that I can put out something … and people be like, ‘Oh man, that made me feel this, and that,'” Timbaland said. “It’s making people feel a certain way. I think that’s the biggest accolade for me.”…
