VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth will preside over an enlistment ceremony at Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana on Tuesday at 8:45 a.m.
The ceremony will mark the official entry of new U.S. military recruits from Richmond’s Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). It will include remarks from Hegseth, a formal swearing-in, and a coin presentation to select MEPS personnel and NAS Oceana sailors.
