Cook Out drive-thru shooter pleads guilty to manslaughter and wounding

NORFOLK, Va. — A Norfolk man has pleaded guilty to two crimes after he shot two people at a Cook Out drive-thru last year.

The shooting happened on June 24, 2024. New Mexico native Jason Allred died in the shooting, and a Cook Out employee was wounded. Michael Devon Parker was charged in the shooting, which happened at the Cook Out at 720 E. Little Creek Road.
