(WAVY) — With major tidal flooding possible along with high winds and the possibility of 1 to 2 inches of rain in the forecast this weekend, some events have been altered or canceled due to the weather.

Suffolk Peanut Fest
Fireworks Extravaganza: Shifted to 9:30 p.m. Oct. 10 in an attempt to avoid the rain, according to the events Facebook page.
