NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia State Police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred on I-64 near Norview Avenue early Monday morning.
According to officials, just after 2 a.m., troopers were dispatched to the eastbound lanes of I-64 near the Norview Avenue on-ramp for reports of an apparent shooting.
An initial investigation revealed that a driver of a red sedan was traveling in the far-left lane on I-64 when a black Infinity sped up behind him at a high rate of speed. The driver of the red sedan then moved over one lane to the right, troopers said…
