NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A man was reported dead after experiencing a medical emergency while in custody of the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office Oct. 12, according to deputies.
William Snyder, 35, was being received by Booking staff at the Norfolk City Jail when NSO staff immediately began to preform first aid and emergency medical assistance until relieved byNorfolk Fire and Rescue personnel.
He was then transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after. The cause of death is undetermined at this time and the investigation is ongoing…
