VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The Virginia Beach Police Department and Virginia Beach Human Services are getting ready for a drop off event for expired and unwanted prescription drugs for National Prescription Take Back Day on Saturday.
The event is set to take place at a table near the food court at Lynnhaven Mall from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25.
During the event, people will be able to safely dispose of unwanted medications. In addition, while supplies last, staff with VBPD and Human Services will hand out free educational materials, medication lock boxes and naloxone…
