NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The victim in a deadly domestic stabbing in Norfolk on Monday had pleaded for help just weeks before her death, according to court documents outlining new details in the woman’s death.
Police say a little before 8 a.m. Monday, Shakira Clark, 23, called 911, reporting that her ex-boyfriend,Keandre Debrough, 25, was breaking into her home. By the time officers arrived, it was too late. Clark was found unresponsive with visible trauma across her body.

Court records show Clark had domestic charges pending against Debrough since September. She was granted a protective order against him on Oct. 1, but it expired five days later.
