NORFOLK, Va.(WAVY)– Norfolk State University (NSU) just received their largest gift in the institution’s 90-year history.
Philanthropist MacKenzie Scott gifted the university $50 million to support the university’s mission to transform students’ lives through exemplary teaching, research and service. This will be Scott’s second time donating to the HBCU. In 2020, Scott gifted NSU with $40 million.
