CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A fire damaged a trailer and displaced one person Thursday morning on Homecrest Boulevard in the Portlock area of the city, the Chesapeake Fire Department said.
At 10:28 a.m., Chesapeake firefighters were sent to the 100 block of Homecrest Blvd. for the report of a fire, and when Chesapeake Engine 2 arrived five minutes later, firefighters reported smoke showing from the trailer.
Firefighters found an active fire under the trailer, which they put out, the Chesapeake Fire Department said.
Everyone had gotten out of the trailer before the fire department arrived, the Chesapeake Fire Department said, and one adult has been displaced…
