CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A man has died following a shooting at a hotel in Chesapeake Tuesday night.
According to police, officers were called to the Budget Lodge, located in the 3200 block of Western Branch Boulevard, at 11 p.m. for the report of shooting inside a room.
When officers arrived, they learned a man had been shot at the location several hours prior. The victim was transported to a hospital in Portsmouth, where Portsmouth Police Department responded and initiated the investigation.
He later died of his injuries…
