Hampton Roads Transit (HRT) in Norfolk, Virginia, will end all transit services early on Monday, December 8, 2025, due to winter weather. Bus routes will finish before their usual times. The last Tide Light Rail trains will leave Newtown Road Station at 7:20 p.m. westbound and EVMC/Fort Norfolk at 7:26 p.m. eastbound. The final Elizabeth River Ferry trip will depart Waterside Ferry Dock at 7:45 p.m. Paratransit and OnDemand rides will end at 8 p.m.
Base Express, the Customer Call Center, and all transit centers will keep their regular schedules. Service for Tuesday, December 9, may change depending on the weather.
