VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach residents will soon have a more affordable way to park at the Oceanfront, beginning in 2026.
Virginia Beach City Council voted on Dec. 9 to approve a new program which will provide Virginia Beach residents a voucher worth $50 of free parking. Once a resident uses the $50 in free parking, they can purchase one additional $50 reload for only $25. In November, 10 On Your Side reported that this voucher proposal was up for consideration.
