VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Virginia Beach Police say a suspect is in custody following the theft of a vehicle that had a 6-year-old child inside.
According to police, on December 7 at around 3:05 p.m., dispatch received a report of a stolen vehicle in the 5000 block of Virginia Beach Boulevard. Officers learned the vehicle was taken while a 6-year-old child was still inside.
VBPD officers immediately canvassed the area and later located the child safely in a parking lot off Lynnhaven Parkway. Police say the child was not injured…
