NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A 20-year-old man pled guilty to possessing a machine gun as a convicted felon at a New Year’s Eve party in 2024 in Norfolk.
In the early morning hours of Dec. 31, 2024, Jahtay Sincere Norman assaulted two women and drew a gun on an individual he thought was making advances at his girlfriend inside a short-term rental house on Hillside Avenue.
Once he walked out of the residence, concerned residents reported to police that there was a man outside with a gun. When officers arrived, they found Norman arguing outside with other partygoers.
