NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY)– Fauna the elf has discovered the Virginia Zoo’s newest residents, welcoming a group of meerkats named Cady, Regina, Gretchen and Karen, now settling into their new home along the African Safari Trail.
The three meerkats are 3 years old and recently arrived from another AZA-accredited facility. Zoo officials said the animals are shy.
