Neighbor recounts seeing woman pulled from burning Chesapeake home

CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A Chesapeake neighbor is being praised as a hero after his quick actions helped save a woman’s life during an early morning house fire on Wednesday.

The fire broke out just after 4 a.m. on Powell Circle. Neighbors say timing made all the difference.
