NORFOLK, Va. — Six Sentara hospitals have been named among the nation’s best for maternity care by U.S. News & World Report, the health system announced.
The hospitals earned “high performing” rankings for labor and delivery services for uncomplicated pregnancies out of a record 899 evaluated nationwide. Only 495 hospitals received the designation.
The Sentara facilities recognized are:
- Sentara CarePlex in Hampton
- Sentara Leigh in Norfolk
- Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge
- Sentara Princess Anne in Virginia Beach
- Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg
- Sentara Williamsburg Regional in Williamsburg
