HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — A man has non life-threatening injuries after being shot while driving on Slater Avenue Thursday, Hampton Police said.
Around 3:44 p.m., Hampton Police received a report of a shooting in the 1900 block of East Pembroke Ave., and when officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot multiple times. Police said he was treated at the scene and taken to a hospital for treatment.
A preliminary investigation indicated the man reported being shot while he was driving in the 500 block of Slater Avenue, according to police, who said he fled the area and stopped in the 1900 block of East Pembroke Avenue, where officers found him…
