Chesapeake police searching for suspect in diamond earring theft at Greenbrier Mall

CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Chesapeake police are investigating a larceny Thursday afternoon at Greenbrier Mall.

According to the Chesapeake police, the incident happened around 3 p.m. at Jewelry Palace inside the mall. Employees told police a man entered the store, asked to see a pair of diamond earrings valued at about $220, then left without paying.

The suspect is described as a Black man about 6 feet tall, wearing black clothing and a blue hooded sweatshirt…
