HAMPTON ROADS, Va. (WAVY) — The City of Suffolk Department of Fire and Rescue, Norfolk Fire-Rescue, Newport News Fire Department, and Hampton Fire conducted drafting training Sunday on the old span of the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel.
The training was conducted in collaboration with the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Crews worked together and used nonstandard appliances and drafting procedures to establish a water supply, adjusting for long distances and changing tides.
