NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A tractor trailer crash on I-64 West at mile marker 273.7 in the City of Norfolk caused significant delays Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:15 p.m., which closed the west right lane and right shoulder near Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel.
The crash led to traffic backups to approximately 6.25 miles.
Both the west right lane and the right shoulder remained closed following the crash which impacted traffic to flow significantly.
Virginia State Police investigated this crash and reported that a tractor trailer swerved after braking to avoid a collision and struck one of two Truck-Mounted Attenuators (TMAs) in the work zone…
