NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A Norfolk woman was arrested after assaulting a police officer at an ABC Store on West Ocean View Avenue Sunday evening, according to police.
The Norfolk Police Department responded to a report of a larceny in progress at the ABC Store, located at 159 West Ocean View Avenue, at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 11.
Police said an officer was assaulted during the call. The officer suffered minor injuries that were not life-threatening.
Following the investigation, 43-year-old Tai M. Sharrock was taken into custody and charged with aggravated assault of a police officer and obstruction. She is currently being held without bail in Norfolk City Jail…
