NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – David Jarrett gave his wife an unexpectedly large Christmas gift. He told Lottery officials he always buys lottery tickets as stocking stuffers. This year, the ticket he put in his wife’s stocking was worth $150,000.
It was the top prize in the Virginia Lottery Cash Vaultscratcher game.
