NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk police are asking for the public’s help in investigating a New Year’s Eve shooting that injured a prominent Ocean View citizen.
The shooting happened at 11:55 p.m., in the 1800 block of East Ocean View Avenue, Norfolk police say. Officers found a 72-year-old woman suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound inside the home.
Friends of the victim previously told 13News Now it was prominent Ocean View realtor Judy Boone. Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney Ramin Fatehi called it a “targeted incident.”…
