Norfolk police make arrest in 2021 arson that left one person dead

NORFOLK, Va. — After over four years, an arrest has been made in a Norfolk arson that left one woman dead.

Norfolk police and fire crews were called to the 3500 block of Somme Avenue in Norfolk on August 12, 2021, just before 1 a.m., after receiving a report of a house fire.

Once the fire was brought under control, investigators located 69-year-old Leslie Vaughn dead inside of the home…
