HAMPTON, Va. — Crews across Hampton Roads have been preparing for days as a mix of rain and snow moves into the region Saturday, bringing concerns about slick roads and freezing conditions.
In Hampton, public works crews began winter weather preparations as early as Friday, after getting advance notice of the approaching system.
