CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Two people were taken to the hospital following a three-vehicle crash Monday morning in Chesapeake, according to police.
It happened around 9:25 a.m. at the intersection of Indian River Road and Sparrow Road.
Officers determined a black Nissan Altima traveling eastbound on Indian River Road entered the intersection where it hit a Honda Pilot traveling northbound on Sparrow Road. Police said the impact caused a Honda Pilot to overturn and collide with a third vehicle that was stopped at the intersection.
Two occupants of the Honda Pilot were evaluated at the scene and subsequently taken to a local hospital for further evaluation…
