VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — In preparation for possible winter weather this weekend, the City of Virginia Beach has been preparing equipment, supplies, and developing staffing plans.
The city, in a statement to WAVY, said, “Our priority is to keep residents safe and maintain access to critical services during and after the storm.”
According to the 2026 Virginia Beach Snow Plan, roadway plowing is based upon four priority levels which ensure access to critical services, such as hospitals or fire stations.
