Serial grand larceny suspects sought in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Virginia Beach police are searching for two repeat theft suspects linked to a string of shoplifting incidents at local retail stores. Investigators released surveillance images of the pair after connecting them to multiple thefts occurring in December and January.

The investigation focuses on three separate incidents involving a Nordstrom Rack and two Nike store locations. According to police, the suspects stole clothing and merchandise valued at more than $1,700 during a single outing on Main Street.

The most recent theft tied to these suspects occurred on Jan. 10 at the Nike store located at 177 Columbus St. At approximately 3:10 p.m., a man and a woman reportedly grabbed several items from the racks and left the building without paying for the merchandise. Staff members at the store reported seeing the pair leave the scene in a black early 2000s Honda Accord.
