NORFOLK, Va. — The United States Secret Service is cracking down on Electric Benefit Transfer (EBT) fraud and ATM skimming across the country, including efforts in Hampton Roads.
13 News Now spoke with Michael Peck about how they’re fighting crime organizations attempting to commit fraud in the billions of dollars range. Peck, who is Assistant Special Agent in Charge with the Secret Service, said they are up to more than just safeguarding high-ranking government officials.
