NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) —Selden Market will celebrate its grand re-opening with a two-day community event Friday, Feb. 6, and Saturday, Feb. 7, 2026, marking the completion of extensive building renovations and the launch of new initiatives aimed at supporting small businesses and creatives.
Selden Market enters phase two of expansion, adds new retail spaces
The downtown Norfolk market recently completed upgrades that include new exterior and interior signage, custom-built vendor booths for pop-up businesses, an expanded community kitchen and updated restrooms. The updates are designed to create a more welcoming space for community events and a rotating lineup of emerging retail and food concepts.
The re-opening weekend highlights Selden Market’s mission to support street-level retail and creative entrepreneurs while serving as a gathering space for residents and visitors.
