CAPE CHARLES, Va. (WAVY) — The Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel closed to all traffic temporarily Saturday due high winds.
The closure to all vehicles on the nearly 18-mile roadway was announced on on X around 3 p.m. The bridge will close when wind speeds are in excess of 60 miles per hour according to the CBBT’s website. A closure was announced again just before 8:30 p.m.
