A 22-year-old Norfolk man is being held without bond in Fauquier County following a high-speed chase.
On Monday afternoon, a license plate reader, or LPR, south of Warrenton sent out an alert for a reported stolen vehicle from Virginia Beach, according to the Fauquier County Sheriff’s Office.
A Fauquier deputy then observed the vehicle passing through Warrenton on the Eastern Bypass. When the deputy and a colleague initiated a traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle refused to stop, instead accelerating onto the shoulder to pass cars, authorities said…
