Coordinated burn at Back Bay Wildlife Refuge targets invasive plants

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, and the Virginia Beach Fire Department conducted a coordinated interagency prescribed burn Thursday at Back Bay Wildlife Refuge, treating about 300 acres.
