This Virginia Restaurant Serves Soup You’ll Crave All Winter Long

Soup is good for the soul. It’s warm and flavorful and often includes nourishing ingredients like veggies, stocks, and spices. A big pot of bubbling soup pairs perfectly with a chilly Virginia day. The Stockpot in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is a treasured restaurant that serves incredible soups, so good you’ll want a bowl all winter long.

The Stockpot, located in the Vibe Creative District, specializes in healthful comfort food. Patrick Edwards and Anne Galante opened the restaurant in Virginia Beach in 2015, hoping to create a sense of community and hospitality around delicious soups. The business has grown, and there are now two other locations in Norfolk, Virginia, and Chesapeake, Virginia. They take food quality and customer experience seriously, focusing on maintaining an authentic and fresh menu and a welcoming and comforting atmosphere.

There’s also Lentejas, a vegetarian and gluten-free soup with lentils, potatoes, onion, celery, peppers, and spices. The menu also includes a Soup Du Jour, which changes frequently.

The Stockpot serves beautiful ramen bowls. The varieties include Classic Shoyu, Spicy Miso, Stockpot Shio, Veggie, and Special Ramen, a rotating menu item. These look like the perfect meal on a cold winter day.

If you’re not in the mood for soup, consider The Stockpot’s Harvest Salad, which features blackened chicken breast, hard-boiled egg, bacon, avocado, and roasted squash.
