CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — The Chesapeake Police Department said the search for 59-year-old Bonita Renee Ricks ended with her being found safe Friday afternoon.
Police said Ricks was last seen at around 3 a.m. on Feb. 16, 2026, leaving Chesapeake Regional Medical Center.
Ricks had been staying at Woodspring Suites at 137 Kempsville Road, about a mile from the hospital, but police said she never returned to the hotel.
