Virginia Beach Radio DJ ‘Shaggy’ Sentenced On DWI, Obstruction Charges.

Popular radio DJ Brandon Stokes, known professionally as “Shaggy,” was sentenced Thursday in Virginia Beach, VA on charges of driving while intoxicated and obstruction of justice — but he won’t see much time behind bars, according to a report by WAVY-TV.

According to online court records, Stokes — who hosts “Shaggy & Friends” mornings at Audacy CHR “Z104” WNVZ in Virginia Beach — received a two-year prison sentence, with one year imposed for each count. The majority of the sentence was suspended, leaving 30 days of active jail time to serve.

The Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office confirmed Stokes was given a delayed report date of March 6 and will serve his time on weekends. In addition to jail time, Stokes was ordered to pay a fine and meet other conditions set by the court…
