VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A Virginia Beach man was issued two misdemeanor summonses after police responded to a report of gunfire early Feb. 22.
At about 1:55 a.m., Emergency Communications and Citizen Services received a ShotSpotter alert for gunfire in the 1300 block of Lynnhaven Parkway. Officers responded and, with assistance from the department’s Real Time Crime Center, linked the alert to a previous incident and identified a suspect.
