ODU staple La Herradura closes Norfolk location after 20 years

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – La Herradura, a restaurant located on the campus of Old Dominion University, permanently closed its doors on Monday, March 2. The establishment is shuttering after 20 years of business in the Norfolk community.

The restaurant announced the closure through a social media post expressing gratitude for two decades of support. While the campus location is closing, the owners confirmed that their other two locations on Shore Drive and at the Oceanfront in Virginia Beach will remain open.

In a message to the community, the restaurant staff reflected on two decades of service near the university. “It is with heavy hearts that we’re announcing, after 20 years of business, La Herradura Norfolk will permanently close it’s doors on Monday, March 2nd,” the business posted.
