NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — At least four people were detained by officers in Norfolk after a high-speed chase through a residential neighborhood, according to video obtained by 10 On Your Side, with those officers identifying themselves to neighbors as immigration enforcement.
Home security footage shows unmarked cars chasing a blue utility van at around 6:30 a.m. Thursday, with the chase ending with a crash along the 4800 block of Windermere Avenue.
Witness video showed those officers detaining someone who appeared to be an adult woman and three adult men. Those four people are seen being brought into an unmarked Dodge Caravan with flashing lights. All the unmarked vehicles seen with flashing lights appear to have civilian license plates, with one of the plates tinted out. Around a dozen officers are seen covering their faces and wearing plain clothes under vests that just say “police.”…
