PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – New job opportunities are coming to Portsmouth. Governor Abigail Spanberger recently announced the city is investing $10.5 million in (WAAM) operations in the city, opening up 53 new jobs.
Radian Forge specializes in Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM), a digital metal manufacturing process that uses advanced 3D printing technology in the shipbuilding industry.
Governor Spanberger expressed an optimistic outlook for the partnership; “Radian Forge’s decision to expand in Hampton Roads highlights the region’s competitiveness, deep industry expertise, and long‑standing role in supporting our national security.
